Sid Page
Sid Page is an American violinist who has been active since the late 1960s. He became a member of Dan Hicks & his Hot Licks, replacing violinist David LaFlamme. He was also at one time a member of Sly & The Family Stone from 1973 to 1974,〔Answers.com (– Sly & the Family Stone )〕 and played on the 1974 album ''Small Talk''.〔SWAMPLAND.com (– The Divine Spark of Sly & The Family Stone by James Calemine )〕 He has also worked with Stevie Wonder, Cher, Van Morrison, George Benson, Joe Cocker, Richard Thompson, Jerry Garcia, Harry Connick Jr., Suzy Bogguss, J.J. Cale, Cheap Trick, Grover Washington, Violent Femmes, Lynn Anderson, and Suzanne Vega.〔〔Sid Page All Terrain Violinist (– Recordings )〕 ==Film work== Page has contributed to the music of at least 29 films including ''The Moderns'' in 1988, ''Little Man Tate'' in 1991, and ''Cold Creek Manor'' in 2003. He has also been concertmaster of at least eight films, including ''Passed Away'' in 1992, ''Son in Law'' in 1993, and ''Duma'' in 2005.
